Contractor: How to Submit and Manage Timesheets?

This document provides Hiring Manager users with the steps necessary to approve and manage timesheets within SimplifyVMS. This guide uses standard SimplifyVMS configuration. Your specific setup may vary slightly based on your company's configuration.

How to Submit Timesheets?

  • Login to SimplifyVMS: Use your login credentials. If you do not have your login details, please contact your employer of record.
  • Create New Timesheet: Click on Create New Timesheet, select the work period, then click Continue.
  • Enter Hours Worked: From the timesheet page, enter the hours worked. If the hours are the same as the previous week, you can click on Copy Previous.
  • Submit Timesheet: Click on Submit Timesheet. You can also save a timesheet to submit later.

How to Manage Timesheets?

  • Access Timesheets: From the home dashboard, open the left-hand navigation panel, click Time & Expenses, the click Timesheets.
  • View Timesheets: Here you can see Timesheets that are pending approval, approved, rejected, etc.
  • Handle Rejected Timesheets: If you have a rejected timesheet, click on the rejected timesheet to open it.
  • Re-submit Timesheet: Once the rejected timesheet is opened, re-enter the hours, click Save, and the re-submit the timesheet for approval.
